ABSTRACT
Information and Communication Technology is penetrating every facet of human life. The application of information and communication technology services for improving health care services is receiving attention in the research community. The application of electronic diary in the health sector will help health care providers to be effective and be able to satisfy their patients. This study was conducted in order to design an electronic diary that will assist health care providers in the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital to manage their time during work hours and be more effective and productive. The application has been design with the involvement of the target users through a user centered approach. Qualitative and quantitative data were collected during the development process. The user evaluation of the application indicates that the target users were satisfied with the application. They were able to use the user interface and interacted with the e-diary application with ease.
